La Palma, the "isla bonita", is the most amazing of the seven Canary Islands. The volcanic landscape, the fresh green vegetation and the deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean invite you to pass a fantastic holiday full of activities. Diving on La Palma means some of the best dives on Canary islands.
Our Dive Centre is located in the lovely town of Los Canarios, in Fuencaliente. From here, we are very close to the most spectacular spots in the south of the island - one side always has good weather. But for sure we move aswell to visit the spots at the east and werst coast, so wherever you are staying, we can take you diving. No matter if you want to take your first diving experience, get your Open Water Certificaton or discover La Palma under water as a certified diver - we guarantee you a great time with us. We offer the full range of diving from easy, shallow dives for beginners up to Technical Diving, and we train divers from the very first breath under water up to Scuba Instructor. As an SSI Diamond Instructor Training Center, we can guarantee you the highest level of professionalism. Our instructors and guides are always up to date, following the newest standards and providing you safe and enjoyable dives on any level. But not only this. Punkfishes are a little bit different from the typical service idea. We believe that the best thing we can do is to go diving together. This means that our profesionals do take care for you, but we will allow you to enjoy your autonomy as a diver aswell. We want you to be comfortable in the water - if you need a guide to take special care for you, let us know. In general, you will take care for you equipment, be responsible for your dive, and we are there to show you the place, guide you under water and provide some help when needed. And we set very clear limits: Everyone is welcome to dive with us who respects others the same way he or she wants to be respected. If you think that masks at land restrict your freedom, just one skin colour is nice and women should stay at home or anything like that - well, our center might not be the best choice for you. We protect the very different people working and diving with us. As we are incredibly interested in diving theory aswell, we created a theory page: The Punkfish Academy. Dive
We take you in small groups to the best spots on the Island. With Malpique, the favourite of all, at a few minutes from the center, we are just at the perfect location. And with our Offroad-cars we do dive at some completely abandoned spots aswell. Ready for the adventure?

Learn to dive
If you want to start diving or continue your education, you are in the perfect place. Punkfish instructors never stop learning themselves, and are dedicated to find the best way to show you how to improve your diving.

Teach Diving
To become a really good Dive Pro, you need a place where instructors love to teach and share experiences. Punkfish Diving is such a place: You can stay the time you want and leave as a Pro wo will find a job. And the Atlantic can teach you a lot aswell - no kneeling in a pool, this is real diving.

Tek Diving
You want to learn how to use a stage with Nitrox for Decompression, are looking for Hypoxic Trimix Dives, want sipport with your Rebreather or dive with a Scooter? This is the place for you. We teach the SSI Extended Range courses and guide up to Hypoxic Trimix depth, and habe all the gases available.
